Units

  • Academic Programs and Experiential Learning

    Academic Programs and Experiential Learning offers a hands-on approach to connecting what students learn in the classroom to experiences outside of the classroom. Experiential education can be connected to a particular degree program or student organization, or experiences can be completed independently.

  • Center for Service Learning

    The Center for Service Learning offers opportunities and support for students, faculty, departments, and community engagement partners to advance the interests and commitment of the university in promoting public service and civic engagement.

  • Transfer Affairs

    Transfer Affairs assures an optimized transfer experience through intentional curricular mapping and course articulation in partnership with community colleges and other higher education transfer partners.

  • Center for Undergraduate Research & Fellowships

    The Center for Undergraduate Research works with instructors and mentors to develop and promote curricula and models for mentoring; engaging and advising students in their development as researchers and award applicants; and by providing campus-wide programs that celebrate undergraduate research, application completion, and student growth.

  • KU Core

    The KU Core 34 is KU’s revised general education curriculum launching in Fall 2024. The KU Core 34 aligns with the Kansas Board of Regents’ (KBOR) system-wide general education framework which is designed to improve the transfer student experience. By completing the KU Core 34, students will also fulfill the statewide general education requirements.

Undergraduate Enrollment Management and Admissions

Supports undergraduate programs to recruit new students, reviews domestic and international applications for minimum university requirements, conducts international credential evaluations, and processes admissions.
